Exciting shopping news for the Yonkers community! Cross County Center is set to welcome two beloved brands—Levi’s and Build-A-Bear Workshop—from late August to September this year. Both stores will be located at 8000 Mall Walk.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Build-A-Bear Workshop and Levi’s to Cross County Center,” shares marketing manager Kayli Tarcy. “Both brands bring unique, hand-on experiences that go far beyond traditional shopping.”
An Interactive Experience at Build-A-Bear Workshop
Build-A-Bear isn’t just a store, but also an interactive retail experience where guests can create their own personalized stuffed animals. The brand will reside in around a 1,917-square-foot retail space.
“At Build-A-Bear, guests of all ages can create lasting memories by personalizing their own furry friends in a truly special, interactive setting,” Tarcy notes.

Levi’s Grand Opening Details
The 3,343-square-foot Levi’s retail space will be more than just a jean store—it will be a full-service experience where guests can find their dream pair of jeans in an easily navigable space with a modern aesthetic. The space will emulate the look of the Levi’s website and the Levi’s app.
Its grand opening promotions will include a gift with purchase, such as a Levi’s tote with an exclusive local design, when you spend $125 or more (while supplies last), a free live artist customization with a denim purchase, and a fresh sweet treat while customers shop (while supplies last).
“Levi’s offers a modern, engaging store environment where customers can explore the latest styles and connect more deeply with the brand,” Tarcy observes.
With the addition of these two new storefronts, as well as the introduction of Mediterranean-casual eatery CAVA to the space, Cross County Center continues to set itself up as premier shopping destination in Westchester County.
“These additions reflect our ongoing commitment to delivering meaningful experiences that make every visit to Cross County Center special,” Tarcy says.
