NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester provides access to primary care physicians and specialists from ColumbiaDoctors as well as advanced services. Earlier this month, it announced that it received a $20 million gift from entrepreneur and philanthropist Emilia Fazzalari to implement a new women’s health program to offer coordinated, lifelong care with a focus on perimenopause and menopause, which are two medical areas are that are commonly underrepresented in clinical care and research.
“We have rethought and reorganized women’s care in a meaningful way,” says Emilia Fazzalari. “This model brings a new standard to women’s health.”
Fazzalari Women’s Health
The gift creates the Emilia Fazzalari Women’s Health Center of Excellence and the Emilia Fazzalari Women’s Health Program, also known as Fazzalari Women’s Health. The program is led by Dr. Mary Rosser, a nationally recognized obstetrician-gynecologist, with the goal of addressing women’s health needs and dedicated expertise in perimenopause and menopause.

The Fazzalari Women’s Health program organizes care around a patient’s OB/GYN and is supported by a coordinated team of specialists from NewYork-Presbyterian and Columbia. This integrated care approach fosters a continuous care experience to allow women to be more proactive and informed about their health. This initiative will also expand access to multidisciplinary care for women across Manhattan and Westchester.

Integrated Women’s Healthcare at Two Locations
Fazzalari Women’s Health will offer care from world-class doctors from Columbia at NewYork-Presbyterian The One in White Plains and in a Manhattan location at West 51st Street. Services include gynecologic, cardiovascular, mental health, neurocognitive, genetic screening, and more, with personalized plans for short-terms symptoms and long-term health outcomes.
