The Youth Community Outreach Program (Y-COP) is a year-round license childcare and youth development nonprofit organization located in Mount Vernon providing nine distinctive programs for boys and girls of all ages from Mount Vernon and surrounding communities. Y-COP programs are designed to meet youth where they are and help them navigate their overall youth development journey from elementary school through high school under the careful supervision of experienced and nurturing adults. Y-COP also sponsors several community initiatives: an annual toy drive, food and clothing give-away, organizing teens for volunteer community service hours, and advocacy work on behalf of parents facing challenging circumstances.
